Supervised visitation services in San Joaquin County

Supportive supervised visitation — $100 per hour

Two-hour minimum. The monitor maintains continuous supervision while parents and children talk, play, read, share meals or participate in approved activities. Neutral prompts, encouragement, transition support and redirection may be provided when helpful while preserving the parent’s role.

Supervised exchange — $50 per 15 minutes

Structured, staggered exchanges help reduce unnecessary contact between parents and support calmer transitions for children. Arrival, waiting and departure instructions are confirmed in advance.

Community-based and approved in-home visits

Visits may take place at approved libraries, parks, restaurants, recreation areas and other appropriate community locations. In-home visits may also be considered. Every setting must meet the requirements of the court order, the child’s needs, safety and continuous supervision.

Virtual visitation

Supervised video visits may be available when consistent with the court order or written agreement and approved in advance. Procedures, duration and fees are confirmed before service. Read the virtual-visitation policies.

Objective written reports — $65 per report

Reports are based on direct observations and remain factual and objective. They do not include diagnoses, custody recommendations or legal opinions. Standard turnaround is five to seven business days, subject to applicable requirements and agreed arrangements.

Individual parent orientation is $45 per parent. Review the complete Guidelines & Fee Schedule for payment, cancellation and service policies.
